Acetylcholine (ACh) iodide, a neurotransmitter, is a potent cholinergic agonist. Acetylcholine iodide is a modulator of the activity of dopaminergic (DAergic) neurons through the stimulation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs). Acetylcholine iodide inhibits p53 mutant peptide aggregation in vitro.
