Androsterone glucuronide
Androsterone glucuronide (ADT-G) is a major phase II glucuronidated metabolite of androgens (such as testosterone and dihydrotestosterone) in the human body and can be found in urine. Androsterone glucuronide levels can reflect the absorption and hepatic metabolism of testosterone. Androsterone glucuronide can be used in research on hirsutism, polycystic ovary syndrome, and moderate acne.

In Vitro
Androsterone glucuronide (ADT-G) can be specifically and efficiently catalyzed and synthesized from the substrate ADT in HEK293 cells stably expressing mouse Ugt2b37 and in male mouse kidney homogenates[3].
Androsterone glucuronide can be generated from the substrate androsterone (ADT) catalyzed by recombinant mouse Ugt2b37 and male mouse kidney microsomes, with Km values of 3.6 μM and 2.3 μM, respectively[3].
