Antioxidant agent-25 is an antioxidant that scavenges DPPH free radicals and reduces ferric ions. Antioxidant agent-25 has antifungal activity, inhibiting dermatophytes and Candida albicans. Antioxidant agent-25 has antiproliferative activity, inhibiting cancer cells. Antioxidant agent-25 is cytotoxic to normal kidney cells. Antioxidant agent-25 can be used in research on dermatomycoses, leukemia, and melanoma.

Antioxidant agent-25 (Compound 4h) (0.0625-1 mg/mL; 30 min at room temperature in the dark) scavenges DPPH free radicals with an IC₅₀ of 7.2 μg/mL^[1].
Antioxidant agent-25 (0.1 mL sample; 1.9 mL FRAP reagent) exhibited a ferric reducing antioxidant capacity of 6021.15 μM T/g^[1].

Fungal Infection

Antioxidant agent-25 (26 °C for seven days) inhibits the growth of dermatophytes, with IC₅₀ values of 11.63-43.31 μg/mL against E. floccosum, M. gypseum, and T. tonsurans^[1].
Antioxidant agent-25 (0.25-128 μg/mL; 30 °C for 24-48 h) inhibits Candida albicans, with an MIC of 32 μg/mL at 24 and 48 h^[1].

Anti-cancer

Antioxidant agent-25 (20 mM DMSO stock solution; serial concentrations starting from 100 μM; 48 or 72 h (CEM); 4 days (HeLa and Mia-Paca-2)) inhibits the proliferation of CEM and SK-Mel5, with IC₅₀ values of 8.2 and 5.4 μM, respectively^[1].
