Azukisaponin II
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Azukisaponin II is a saponin. Azukisaponin II can be extracted from adzuki bean saponin extract. Azukisaponin II causes significant upregulation of PPARα, p-AMPKα, PGC1α, CPT1α, and CTP2 proteins. Azukisaponin II inhibits lipid accumulation in a dose-dependent manner. Azukisaponin II can be used in obesity research.

In Vitro
Azukisaponin II (50 μM) attenuates lipid accumulation in PPARα-knockdown 3T3-L1 adipocytes and restores PPARα-AMPKα signaling[1].
Azukisaponin II (50-500 μg/mL) inhibits lipid accumulation during 3T3-L1 cell differentiation, producing a 49.72% inhibitory effect in a dose-dependent manner[3].
