1A9/ptx-22 is a human cancer cell line derived from Ovary and associated with Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary. 1A9/ptx-22 is a resistant derivative of A2780-1A9 selected against Paclitaxel (Taxol. 1A9/ptx-22 is used as an in vitro model of Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary to investigate p53 signaling, cell proliferation, cell migration, gene-expression regulation, drug resistance, and cytotoxicity.
