1A9 is a human cancer cell line derived from Ovary and associated with Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. 1A9 is used as an in vitro model of Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary to investigate receptor signaling and trafficking and gene-expression regulation.
