Nicotinamide-nucleotide amidase is a hydrolase found in eukaryotes, bacteria and archaea that also acts more slowly on beta-nicotinamide D-ribonucleoside. It hydrolyzes beta-nicotinamide D-ribonucleotide into beta-nicotinate D-ribonucleotide and ammonia. In NAD biosynthesis it converts NMN to NaMN. It features an amidohydrolase fold.
