Elisabethatriene synthase is a Mg2+-preferring (Mn2+ less efficient) diterpene cyclase from the coral Antillogorgia elisabethae; it can also use farnesyl and geranyl diphosphate. It cyclizes geranylgeranyl diphosphate into elisabethatriene and diphosphate, a precursor of pseudopterosin anti-inflammatory diterpenes. Structurally it is a diterpene cyclase.
