GTP diphosphokinase ( stringent factor) is the (p)ppGpp-biosynthesis enzyme. It transfers a pyrophosphoryl from ATP onto GTP, releasing AMP and guanosine 3'-diphosphate 5'-triphosphate (pppGpp); GDP can also act as acceptor, producing ppGpp. Expected in Eukaryota and Bacteria.
