Hydroxylysine kinase is the collagen-turnover GTP-dependent amino-acid kinase. It transfers the gamma-phosphoryl from GTP onto the 5-hydroxyl of 5-hydroxy-L-lysine (and its 5-epimer), releasing GDP and 5-phosphooxy-L-lysine. Expected in Eukaryota and Bacteria.
