Phosphoglyceromutase is the glycolytic phospho-enzyme. It shifts the phosphate between C2 and C3 of phosphoglycerate, interconverting 3-phosphoglycerate and 2-phosphoglycerate in glycolysis, using an enzyme-bound 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate cofactor.
