Single-stranded-nucleate endonuclease is a structure-selective endonuclease of the EC 3.1.x family that preferentially cleaves single-stranded regions in DNA and RNA. By resolving single-stranded flaps, bubbles and hairpins it contributes to DNA repair, replication and RNA processing in cellular organisms.
