SMILES: O=C(NC)C1=CC(O)=CC=C1N
Biological Activity: α-Synuclein-IN-26 is an α-Synuclein inhibitor that inhibits αSyn oligomerization (IC50 = 10.5 μM) and fibrillization, and binds to native monomeric αSyn. α-Synuclein-IN-26 has neuroprotective effects, protecting dopaminergic neurons from A53T αSyn-induced neurotoxicity. α-Synuclein-IN-26 does not affect intercellular transmission of αSyn and does not alter cellular αSyn protein levels, with no significant toxicity to dopaminergic neurons. α-Synuclein-IN-26 can be used in research related to Parkinson's disease[1].
