Biological Activity: JC-D7 is a benzimidazolium-based fluorescent polyphosphate (polyP)-specific probe and dye used for detecting, localizing, and quantifying inorganic polyP stores. JC-D7 specifically labels in vitro synthesized polyP as well as endogenous polyP in living cells, and enables real-time detection of polyP release from lysosomes. The detection conditions for JC-D7 are Ex/Em = 390/535 nm, 390/530 nm, 405/535 nm, and 405/480-510 nm[1][2][3][4].
