Biological Activity: Demethyltorosaflavone C is a Free Radical Scavenger, with DPPH• scavenging IC50 values of 47.7 μM and 1.36 mM in different experimental systems. The catechol group on the B ring of Demethyltorosaflavone C promotes hydrogen donation and resonance stabilization of the phenoxyl radical, thereby exerting its free radical scavenging effect.
