Biological Activity: EDMPC is a cationic lipid that efficiently mediates the transmembrane and intracellular delivery of nucleic acids and proteins. EDMPC encapsulates nucleic acids through electrostatic interactions to form lipoplexes, thereby protecting nucleic acids from enzymatic degradation in vivo and effectively promoting their endocytosis and uptake by cells. EDMPC can be used in research on cystic fibrosis, melanoma, and breast cancer[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
