SMILES: CC(NCC1=CC=CC=C1)C.Cl
Biological Activity: N-Isopropylbenzylamine hydrochloride is a bulking agent. N-Isopropylbenzylamine hydrochloride induces intracellular nitric oxide (NO) production by targeting neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS), increasing its expression and activation, and causes cell death in neuronal cell lines and inactivation of cytochrome P450, without producing significant toxicity in non-neuronal cells. N-Isopropylbenzylamine hydrochloride can be used for nNOS-related neurotoxicity research[1][2][3][4].
