Biological Activity: (2R,4S)-3,4-Dihydro-4-hydroxy-2,7-dimethyl-1 (2H)-naphthalenone is a tetralone derivative found in Pyrola calliantha. It exerts extremely weak inhibitory effects on arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation and shows no positive inotropic activity on isolated guinea pig right atria[1].
