Biological Activity: H052 is a potent Staphylococcus aureus α-hemolysin (Hla) inhibitor. H052 specifically binds to the W286 residue of the Hla monomer, preventing its oligomerization into a heptameric transmembrane pore, thereby completely blocking calcium ion influx and subsequent cell damage and barrier disruption. H052 can be used for research on pulmonary infections caused by S. aureus[1][2].
