Biological Activity: WC-27 is a selective Wee1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 2.11 nM. WC-27 blocks Wee1-mediated inhibitory phosphorylation of CDK1 and disrupts the G2/M checkpoint. WC-27 induces S-phase cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, and inhibits cell migration and colony formation. WC-27 can be used for research on non-small cell lung cancer[1].
