InChIKey: ZKHQWZAMYRWXGA-UHTZMRCNSA-N
SMILES: NC1=C2N=CN([C@@H]3O[C@H](COP(OP(OP(O)(O)=O)(O)=O)(O)=O)[C@@H](O)[C@@H]3O)C2=NC=N1
Biological Activity: Ara-ATP is an ATP-competitive poly (A) polymerase (poly (A) polymerase) inhibitor with a Ki value of 4 μM for the chromatin-bound form and a Ki value of 60 μM for the nucleoplasmic (free) form. Ara-ATP blocks pre-mRNA 3' end processing by inhibiting endonucleolytic cleavage, poly (A) addition, and the formation of cleavage and polyadenylation-specific RNA-protein complexes. Ara-ATP selectively inhibits initial polyadenylation rather than poly (A) elongation. Ara-ATP is used in the study of viral infections[1][2].
