In Vitro
Chondramide C (compound 3c) (24 h) disrupts actin organization in BSC-1 cells, leading to loss of stress fibers and formation of perinuclear actin aggregates[3].
Chondramide C can serve as an intermediate for the synthesis of derivatives with anticancer activity[4].
Chondramide C shows strong binding affinity to the spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2 wild-type, N501Y, E484K, and D614G-I472V variants in molecular docking simulations, and can bind to key amino acid sites of the spike protein through molecular interactions such as hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking[5].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
