Anti-cancer

Cimicifugic acid F (200 µg/mL; 3 h) does not significantly reduce S30 cell growth in the SRB cytotoxicity assay^[1].
Cimicifugic acid F (pre-incubation for 3 h) does not protect S30 cell DNA from Menadione (HY-B0332)-induced single-strand breaks in the comet assay^[1].

Innate Immunity

Cimicifugic acid F (50-100 μM; 24 h) does not significantly inhibit NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells relative to the LPS control^[2].
Cimicifugic acid F (37 °C for 1 h) inhibits leukocyte neutrophil elastase in a cell-free assay with an IC₅₀ of 18 µM^[3].

Oxidative Stress

Cimicifugic acid F (30 min at 37 °C) scavenges DPPH radicals with an IC₅₀ of 20.5 μM in the cell-free DPPH assay^[1].
