cis-Verbenol Standard is the analytical standard of cis-Verbenol (HY-W674037). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. cis-Verbenol is an aggregation pheromone component found in bark beetles, with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. cis-Verbenol reduces intracellular oxidative stress (ROS) by directly scavenging peroxyl radicals, and significantly decreases the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines in ischemic brain tissue or immunostimulated glial cells. cis-Verbenol also has antibacterial activity. cis-Verbenol can be used in research on cerebral ischemia.
