DBCO-CONH-PEG3-4-formylbenzamide efficiently captures azide-modified molecules through copper-free click at the DBCO end, provides a hydrophilic flexible spacer via the middle PEG3 chain to reduce steric hindrance, and specifically binds the amine or hydrazine groups of target molecules through the reactive aldehyde group of the 4-formylbenzamide at the other end; through the synergistic action of these three parts, it perfectly achieves the "double-sided tape" function of precisely linking two different biomolecules in tandem^[1].
