DHODH-IN-36 (II-12) inhibits recombinant SvDHODH with an IC₅₀ of 8.589 μM, and the R189A mutation increases the IC₅₀ to 530 μM; it also binds to SvDHODH with a Kd of 3.83 μM^[1].

In Vivo

DHODH-IN-36 (II-12) (135 g ai/ha; 14 days after application) produces 81.1% growth inhibition of Setaria viridis, weaker inhibition of A. retroflexus, D. sanguinalis, and E. crus-galli, and no significant activity against six spectrum weeds^[1].
DHODH-IN-36 inhibits the seedling growth of A. retroflexus and E. crus-galli by 46.3% and 43.5%, respectively, and exhibits pre-emergence herbicidal activity^[1].
DHODH-IN-36 (135 g ai/ha; half a month after application) is rated as Class A (0-20% inhibition) in wheat, corn, cotton, and soybean, indicating good crop safety^[1].
