In Vitro
DMB-Rifampicin (5-10 μg/mL) potently inhibits focus formation and replication of Moloney sarcoma virus in BALB/3T3 cells, and completely suppresses focus formation at a concentration of 10 μg/mL[1].
DMB-Rifampicin (10 μg/mL; 7 days) completely inhibits foci formation of Moloney sarcoma virus, reduces viral replication in BALB/3T3 cells at a concentration of 10 μg/mL, but only partially suppresses cell proliferation; it has no effect on the replication of vesicular stomatitis virus in the same cell line[1].
DMB-Rifampicin (3 μg/mL; 72 h) inhibits focus formation of Moloney sarcoma virus in BALB/3T3 cells without impairing cell replication[1].
