Inositol 4-phosphate
Inositol 4-phosphate (IP1) is an inositol monophosphate isomer derived from the dephosphorylation of I(1,4)P2. Inositol 4-phosphate increases rapidly in GH3 cells after thyrotropin-releasing hormone stimulation. Inositol 4-phosphate can be used in glioma-related research.

Description
In Vitro
Inositol 4-phosphate (I4P) accumulates in GH3 cells following TRH stimulation; its levels rise rapidly within 30 s and continue to increase for up to 30 min; moreover, it is separable from other inositol phosphate isomers using anion-exchange HPLC[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
