Nonanoyl-CoA (Pelargonoyl-CoA; S-Nonanoate coenzyme A; Nonanoyl-coenzyme A) is a medium-chain fatty acyl-CoA and serves as a substrate of ACOT9. Nonanoyl-CoA can be hydrolyzed by ACOT9 to release free nonanoic acid and coenzyme A.
