OX1/2R-IN-1 is an orexin receptor antagonist. OX1/2R-IN-1 acts by blocking OX1R- and OX2R-mediated Gq-coupled calcium signaling (pKi values of 5.90 and 5.83, respectively). OX1/2R-IN-1 can be used for research on orexin receptor signaling pathways.

OX1/2R-IN-1 (120 s) does not stimulate intracellular calcium release in CHO-OX1 or CHO-OX2 cells, indicating no agonist activity at human OX1 or OX2 receptors[1].
OX1/2R-IN-1 (up to 100 μM) does not inhibit specific 3H-CGP12177 binding in CHO-β1 cells[1].
