PAB-QMOF2-PEG2-Biotin
PAB-QMOF2-PEG2-Biotin is an activatable proximity labeling probe based on a PAB-caged quinone methide (QM), bearing a biotin tag (OF2). Under blue-light bioorthogonal photocatalytic decaging, PAB-QMOF2-PEG2-Biotin generates a QM intermediate that covalently labels nucleophilic protein residues, and it serves as a QM-series control probe for comparison of labeling efficiency with the thioQM probe SF2. PAB-QMOF2-PEG2-Biotin can be used in research related to obesity-induced type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
