Phanginin H
Phanginin H is an Autophagy inducer with an IC50 of 18.13 μM in PANC-1 cells. Phanginin H induces Reactive Oxygen Species accumulation and mitochondrial depolarization, activates AMPK signaling, inhibits mTORC1/ULK signaling and promotes autophagic flux, and simultaneously induces G2/M phase cell cycle arrest, thereby inhibiting PANC-1 cell proliferation, spheroid formation, and migration. Phanginin H can be used in research related to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

Phanginin H (5-10 μM; 48 h) significantly inhibits DNA synthesis and cell proliferation in PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (2.5-10 μM; 24 and 48 h) significantly impairs the migration of PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (5-10 μM; 24 h) significantly inhibits the invasive capacity of PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (0.625-10 μM; 24 h) downregulates the expression of cancer stem cell markers (CD44, ALDH1A1, Bmi1) and the EMT marker Vimentin in PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (compound 11) (20 μM; 48 h) lacks significant cytotoxicity against A2780, HEY, AGS, and A549 cancer cell lines[3].
Phanginin H (5-10 μM; 12 and 24 h) induces a significant increase in autophagic vacuoles in PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (5-10 μM; 12 and 24 h) activates autophagic flux in PANC-1 cells[2].
Phanginin H (1.25-10 μM; 24 h) increases AMPK Thr172 phosphorylation, decreases mTOR Ser2448 and ULK1 Ser757 phosphorylation, and modulates p62, p-p62, Atg5, and Atg14 in PANC-1 cells, thereby activating ROS/AMPK/mTORC1-related autophagic signaling[2].
