SDH-IN-53
SDH-IN-53 is an Antifungal agent and SDH inhibitor, with SDH IC50 values of 3.13, 1.19, and 2.83 μg/mL against G. zeae, A. solani, and C. fructicola, respectively. SDH-IN-53 induces excessive ROS production and mitochondrial membrane potential depolarization. SDH-IN-53 inhibits mycelial growth of plant pathogenic fungi and oomycetes. SDH-IN-53 has no significant effect on seed germination of wheat, tomato, and cabbage. SDH-IN-53 can be used for research on tomato early blight.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
SDH-IN-53 (25.0 μg/mL for initial screening; 0.195-3.13 μg/mL for mycelial growth assay) inhibits the mycelial growth of G. zeae, A. solani, and C. fructicola, with EC50 values of 0.679, 0.424, and 0.384 μg/mL, respectively[1].
SDH-IN-53 (12.5 μg/mL) exhibits broad-spectrum inhibitory activity (>75.0%) against eight plant pathogenic fungi and two oomycetes, with EC50 values ranging from 0.258 to 3.63 μg/mL[1].
SDH-IN-53 (100-200 μg/mL) protects tomato fruit against A. solani early blight, with a protective activity of 83.8% at 200 μg/mL and 71.2% at 100 μg/mL[1].
