ADI-15878 blocks GP-mediated membrane fusion and viral entry by binding to a conserved, non-overlapping epitope comprising the GP1 N-terminal pocket and the GP2 fusion loop. As a component of MBP134, ADI-15878 targets an epitope conserved in BDBV sequences, supporting cross-species activity against EBOV and BDBV, and can be used in combination with ADI-15946 and/or CA45 for next-generation monoclonal antibody cocktail therapy. ADI-15878 can be used for research on Bundibugyo virus disease and Ebola virus disease .
