Inflammation/Immunology Cancer

Emapticap pegol (NOX-E36) is a inhibitor of pro-inflammatory chemokine C-C motif-ligand 2 (CCL2). Emapticap pegol is a 40-nucleotide pegylated aptamer, displays different Spiegelmers (L-RNA aptamer) isform in human (NOX-E36) and mouse (mNOX-E36). mNOX-E36 is a murine-specific analogue of NOX-E36, an anti-MCP-1 L-RNA aptamer that was previously shown to attenuate liver fibrosis in mice .

Naphthyridine carbamate dimer (NCD) is a molecular glue. Naphthyridine carbamate dimer induces designed structural changes in target functional DNA, thereby regulating its function. As a molecular glue, naphthyridine carbamate dimer stabilizes non-spontaneously formed GG homologous mismatched double-stranded DNA. Naphthyridine carbamate dimer reduces the formation of toxic RNA foci and regulates CGG repeat instability associated with fragile X syndrome and spinocerebellar ataxia type 31. Naphthyridine carbamate dimer can be used in research related to fragile X syndrome and spinocerebellar ataxia type 31 .

CB096 is an r(G4C2) exp RNA binder with EC50 values of 19 μM, 20 μM and 33 μM. CB096 selectively interacts with the 5′CGG/3′GGC 1×1 GG internal loop motif of folded r(G4C2) exp RNA, alters motif dynamics and closed base pairs, and rescues disease-related pathways. CB096 can be used for research on inherited amyotrophic lateral sclerosis/frontotemporal dementia (c9ALS/FTD) .

Z-NCTS is a small molecule that binds to mismatched RNA, recognizes the 5'-r (XGG)-3'/5'-r (XGG)-3' sequence, and acts as an RNA molecular glue. Z-NCTS induces the formation of tertiary structures in ribozymes and activates their RNA cleavage activity. As an RNA molecular glue, Z-NCTS enables small molecule-based strategies for regulating RNA structure and function. Z-NCTS binds to d (CGG)/d (CGG) double-stranded DNA, recognizes four guanine bases via hydrogen bonding, and stabilizes the double-stranded DNA. Z-NCTS binds to r (GGG)/r (GGG) double-stranded RNA and enhances the thermodynamic stability of the RNA duplex. Z-NCTS acts as a translation inhibitor by inducing the formation of stable hairpin structures in the 5'-UTR region of engineered mRNA, thereby blocking ribosomal access to the binding site .
