Erlotinib (CP-358774) Hydrochloride is a selective, orally active EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Erlotinib Hydrochloride also acts as a substrate and inhibitor of OATP2B1, with an IC50 of approximately 0.079 μM for inhibiting OATP2B1-mediated uptake of estrone 3-sulfate. Erlotinib Hydrochloride blocks EGFR phosphorylation, downstream signal transduction, as well as the growth and proliferation of cancer cells. Erlotinib Hydrochloride inhibits MMP-10-mediated renal injury, fibrotic lesions, the ERK1/2, GSK-3β and β-catenin signaling pathways, as well as the deposition of fibronectin, α-SMA, collagen and renal injury markers. Erlotinib Hydrochloride is metabolized via CYP3A to produce the active metabolite OSI-420. Erlotinib Hydrochloride can be used in research related to non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, papillary renal cell carcinoma, EGFR inhibitor resistance and renal fibrosis .

Target:
Research Areas:
Azoxymethane (AOM) is a colon carcinogen which leads to the formation of DNA adducts. Azomethane is a procarcinogen that requires metabolic activation via cytochrome P450 (P450) enzymes (primarily CYP2E1) .

Target:
Conivaptan hydrochloride (YM 087) is an orally active dual vasopressin V1a/V2 receptor antagonist with Ki values of 0.48 nM and 3.04 nM for vasopressin V1a receptor and V2 receptor, respectively. Conivaptan hydrochloride competitively and reversibly blocks vasopressin-mediated antidiuresis, vasoconstriction, and cellular hypertrophy, while inhibiting CYP3A4. Conivaptan hydrochloride inhibits vasopressin-induced intracellular calcium, cAMP, and mitogen-activated kinase activation in vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiomyocytes. Conivaptan hydrochloride induces water diuresis while improving hemodynamics in heart failure models, reducing left ventricular end-diastolic pressure, vascular resistance, and organ weight. Conivaptan hydrochloride is used for research on hyponatremia and congestive heart failure .

Research Areas:
TMS ((E)-2,3',4,5'-tetramethoxystilbene) is a selective and competitive CYP1B1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 6 nM and a Ki value of 3 nM. TMS shows a lesser extent inhibitory effect on CYP1A1 (IC50=300 nM) and CYP1A2 (IC50=3.1 μM). TMS is a methylated derivative of resveratrol and has anti-cancer activity .
