Org OD 02-0 (10-Ethenyl-19-norprogesterone) is a selective mPRα/PAQR7 agonist that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Org OD 02-0 targets mPRα with an IC50 of 33.9 nM and activates the PI3K-AKT, MAPK/ERK, and Src signaling pathways. Org OD 02-0 upregulates SERCA2, phosphorylates phospholamban, increases sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium uptake, decreases RhoA/ROCK activity, and induces vascular smooth muscle relaxation and nitric oxide production. Org OD 02-0 can be used for research on Parkinson's disease, glioblastoma, apnea, and hypertension .
