Purity:  ≥98.0%
Synonyms: NSC55712; TPU-260 Dihydrochloride
TPT-260 Dihydrochloride (NSC55712), a thiophene thiourea derivative, is a retromer complex stabilizer against thermal denaturation (Kd = ~5 µM). TPT-260 Dihydrochloride increases the levels of retromer proteins, shifts amyloid-precursor protein (APP) away from the endosome, and decreases the pathogenic processing of APP. TPT-260 Dihydrochloride inhibits TLR4 upregulation, IKKβ phosphorylation, NF-κB p65 nuclear translocation, and NLRP3 inflammasome formation. TPT-260 Dihydrochloride improves retromer-mediated cargo trafficking, reduces brain infarct area, and decreases amyloid plaque deposition. TPT-260 Dihydrochloride exhibits minimal cytotoxicity to primary microglia at tested concentrations. TPT-260 Dihydrochloride can be used for the research of inflammatory bowel disease, ischemic stroke and Alzheimer's disease .

Epsilon-polylysine is an antimicrobial peptide that can be produced by bacteria such as Streptomyces. Epsilon-polylysine inhibits the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, yeasts and molds and is therefore often used as a green food additive and preservative in various food and beverage products. Epsilon-polylysine has a variety of properties, including thermal stability, resistance to acidic conditions, and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. Epsilon-polylysine can be loaded on other materials to form nanoparticles or form nanofiber membranes for targeted delivery to exert sustained antibacterial efficacy. Epsilon-polylysine is also used as a liposome stabilizer .

MDM-2/p53

Research Areas:

Cancer

P53-Y220C stabilizer-1 as an indole-based p53-Y220C stabilizer (EC50 = 0.46 μM) that engages the mutation-induced cavity. P53-Y220C stabilizer-1 binds the p53-Y220C mutant with high affinity (KD = 56 nM) and acts as a selective indole-based p53-Y220C stabilizer that engages the mutation-induced cavity. P53-Y220C stabilizer-1 increases mutant protein thermal stability and restores p53 transcriptional activity, mainly triggering cell cycle arrest instead of acute apoptosis. P53-Y220C stabilizer-1 can be applied to cancers harboring the p53-Y220C mutation, such as gastric cancer .

6-Amino-1,3-dimethyluracil is a 6-aminouracil derivative and also functions as an organic thermal stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its compatibility with PVC is lower than that of Ca 2+/Zn 2+ stabilizers and alkyl-substituted bis(6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil-5-yl)methane derivatives. 6-Amino-1,3-dimethyluracil can be used to prepare PVC films, which exhibit lower transparency compared to PVC films stabilized by its derived bis-uracil compounds .
