TG-2-IN-6
TG-2-IN-6 is a non-peptidic transglutaminase 2 (TG2) transamidase inhibitor with a human TG2 IC50 value of 7.64 μM. TG-2-IN-6 selectively induces apoptosis in breast cancer and triple-negative breast cancer cells. TG-2-IN-6 can be used in breast cancer-related research.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
TG-2-IN-6 (25-75 µM; 24 h) reduces the number of viable MDA-MB-231 cells, but does not significantly decrease the viability of HEK293 cells under the same conditions[1].
TG-2-IN-6 (0.78-100 µM) inhibits the transamidase activity of purified recombinant human TG2 with an IC50 of 7.64 µM and a Hill slope of -1.3[1].
TG-2-IN-6 inhibits purified human TG2 in the DMC-DC assay with an IC50 of 482 µM and an estimated Ki of 44 µM assuming competitive inhibition relative to DMC[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
