Triphenylmethanol (Trt-OH) is an agonist of PXR and CAR1. Triphenylmethanol shows no significant ligand effect on CAR3-dependent transactivation. Triphenylmethanol also serves as an intermediate for the synthesis of AMPKα1 activators. The Triphenylmethanol-Doxorubicin (HY-15142A) conjugate exerts anticancer effects against leukemia, ovarian adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer.
