UGM-IN-2

UGM-IN-2 (the penultimate compound in Supplementary Document S12) is a UGM inhibitor. UGM, a flavin-dependent enzyme unique to microorganisms, catalyzes the ring isomerization of UDP‑Galp to UDP‑Galf. As a key enzyme in furanose galactose synthesis, it represents a potential target for anti-infective therapy^[1].
