Way 100252 dose-dependently inhibits the release of [³H] GABA evoked by various stimuli in cross-cut rat cerebral cortical slices, with pD₂ values of 5.8 (Ca²⁺), 7.4 (K⁺), 6.3 (electrical stimulation) and 6.0 (Ouabain (HY-B1457)) for different stimuli, respectively, and the maximum inhibitory effect ranges from 40% to 90%^[1].
