14:0 EPC chlorid is a cationic lipid that efficiently mediates the transmembrane and intracellular delivery of nucleic acids and proteins. 14:0 EPC chlorid encapsulates nucleic acids through electrostatic interactions to form lipoplexes, thereby protecting nucleic acids from enzymatic degradation in vivo and effectively promoting their endocytosis and uptake by cells. 14:0 EPC chlorid can be used in research on cystic fibrosis, melanoma, and breast cancer.
