17(R)-Protectin D1
17(R)-Protectin D1 (17-epi-Protectin D1) is a protectin-family-specific pro-resolving lipid mediator derived from DHA (HY-B2167) and generated via Aspirin (HY-14654) triggering, possessing pro-inflammatory resolution, neuroprotective, and other activities. 17(R)-Protectin D1 is also the 17R-epimer of Protectin D1 (HY-130413). 17(R)-Protectin D1 enhances macrophage phagocytosis of Escherichia coli and limits neutrophil infiltration. 17(R)-Protectin D1 attenuates stroke severity in animal models. 17(R)-Protectin D1 can be used in research related to peritonitis and stroke.

-
Animal Model:FVB (male, 6-8 weeks old, approximately 23 g)[1]
-
Dosage:100 ng, 10 ng, or 1 ng
-
Administration:i.v.; single injection immediately after Zymosan induction
-
Result:Reduced total peritoneal‑exudate leukocyte counts across all three administered doses six hours post‑peritonitis induction; diminished neutrophil numbers by an average of ~72 % at the 10 ng dose, and lowered monocyte counts relative to the Zymosan‑vehicle control group.
