Antiviral agent-89
Antiviral agent-89 is a non-nucleoside inhibitor of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. Antiviral agent-89 exhibits broad-spectrum anti-HIV-1 activity against wild-type and NNRTI-resistant strains, and shows selectivity and low cytotoxicity in T cells. Antiviral agent-89 can be used for research on HIV-1 infection.

In Vitro
Antiviral agent-89 (incubated at 37°C for 20 minutes) inhibits recombinant WT HIV-1 RT with an ID50 of 5 nM and retains activity against the K103N, Y181I, and L100I mutant RTs[1].
Antiviral agent-89 (5.85-8.30 pID50) inhibits WT HIV-1 RT with a pID50 of 8.30[1].
