Biological Activity: SPDP-sulfo sodium is a water-soluble heterobifunctional crosslinker containing a cleavable disulfide bond. SPDP-sulfo sodium forms a stable amide bond with primary amines through the Sulfo-NHS ester at one end, and reacts with sulfhydryl groups via the 2-pyridyldithiol group at the other end, thereby constructing a disulfide crosslink that can be specifically cleaved in the intracellular reducing microenvironment. SPDP-sulfo sodium can be widely used in the research and construction of ADCs and immunotoxins, receptor-mediated nano-targeted carrier delivery systems, and enzyme-antibody/antigen labels[1][2][3][4].
