Biological Activity: Laccase-IN-7 is a laccase inhibitor (IC50 0.064 mM). Laccase-IN-7 disrupts fungal redox homeostasis, leading to oxidative damage. Laccase-IN-7 induces intracellular ROS accumulation, fungal cell membrane damage, apoptosis-like programmed cell death, and disruption of mycelial morphology and ultrastructure. Laccase-IN-7 exhibits broad-spectrum fungicidal activity against plant pathogenic fungi and inhibits sclerotial germination of S. rolfsii. Laccase-IN-7 has protective efficacy against peanut stem rot. Laccase-IN-7 can be used for research on peanut stem rot[1].
