Biological Activity: DEC-RVRK-CMK (Decanoyl-Arg-Val-Arg-Lys-chloromethylketone) is a peptidyl CMK inhibitor that targets the calcium-dependent subtilisin-like proprotein convertase family. DEC-RVRK-CMK is a furin-targeting proprotein convertase inhibitor that blocks the cleavage and maturation of inhibin α-subunit and βB-subunit precursors. DEC-RVRK-CMK inhibits PC4-mediated proteolysis with an IC50 of 12.2 nM in rats. DEC-RVRK-CMK holds promise for antiviral infection-related research[1][2][3][4].
