Biological Activity: Azurin p28 peptide is a cell-penetrating peptide derived from the copper-containing oxidoreductase azurin of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, possessing antitumor and anti-angiogenic activities. Azurin p28 peptide can selectively enter tumor cells as a cell-penetrating peptide, block the interaction between COP1 and p53, inhibit p53 degradation, and elevate intracellular p53 protein levels. Azurin p28 peptide can induce tumor cell apoptosis. Azurin p28 peptide can be used in cancer-related research, such as breast cancer and central nervous system tumors[1][2][3].
