In Vitro
Isochavicine activates human TRPA1 in TRPA1-expressing HEK T-REx cells with an EC50 of 71.1 µM[1].
Isochavicine (compound 6) reduces the germination rate of cress and barnyardgrass and delays their germination[2].
Isochavicine (48 h) inhibits the growth of watercress seedlings, with I50 values of 11 µM and 18 µM for shoots and roots, respectively, and inhibits the growth of barnyardgrass seedlings, with I50 values of 758 µM and 153 µM for shoots and roots, respectively[2].
